Many of our new Lockpick modules include the ability for the user to perform
software updates with a simple laptop connection.

. From time to time vehicles and factory software may change requiring software updates to our products. The USB update port on your Lockpick module provides a means to keep your module current and to take advantage of improvements we may create for your product. Software updates are listed and available for download below.

To update your Lockpick module, first download and install the
FIRMWARE UPDATER program available at this link
Unzip the file and select the SETUP icon to install the program to your WIndows computer. Install the USB driver when prompted by the FIRMWARE UPDATER and then continue the installation as directed by the on screen instructions - it's easy

     Then, download and save the software update available below to a familiar location on your computer. With the Lockpick module connected to your vehicle and the key out, plug in a USB cable to the USB port on your computer and to the USB port on the Lockpick module. Your computer will display a "found new hardware" message and a few seconds later report that the new hardware is ready to use.
    Next, start the FIRMWARE UPDATER program and browse to the location you saved the update file to. Follow the on screen program instructions and a few minutes later, your Lockpick will be equipped with the latest changes and upgrades.

  4/29/2010 Version 1.3.  This update improves navigation voice volume in some vehicles with specific option packages and includes various other background updates. Recommended for all Mygig Lockpick V3 owners.

          VERSION 4.20 is available now   *****
7/23/10 - Latest update for the FORD SYNC LOCKPICK version 4.20 - Continued advancement in communications and control for all Ford/Lincoln/Mercury applications
5/20/2010 Version 4.19 -  This update adds an option to allow full Lockpick control and on screen messages using radio buttons instead of steering wheel buttons in vehicles which do not have steering wheel controls or have had a navigation radio added.
 4/27/2010 Version 4.17 -  This update improves and expands functionality in specific Explorer models, two piece navigation systems (radio with screen above) as well providing all Lockpick functions in vehicles with manual transmissions.
 2/19/2010 Version 4.05  - This update will bring your Ford Sync Lockpick up to the latest software features including: ON-SCREEN text and menus, the option for Automatic DVD in motion, and many more communication and operation improvements. This upgrade is available for previous Sync Lockpick modules which did not have on screen text, etc. and is recommended for current software versions 1.03 to improve various Lockpick functions.

 4/29/2010 Version 1.4. This update is provides additional support for the latest 2010 model Cadillac Escalades as well as various other software improvements for all vehicles.

2/25/2010 Version 1.02  This update is provided for the new GEN 6 GM LOCKPICK to improve activation of the LOCKPICK front camera features in some GM vehicles.
